Despite the dull exterior and overly ornate interior, our clients saw a diamond in the rough in this 1960's ranch, where they could downsize and simplify while maximizing their love of entertaining and cooking. Central to the design is a newly formed open floor plan in which cooking, living and dining share a vaulted space, with enlarged windows and new skylights to unify the space with light. Modern details are subtle yet crisp, becoming the perfect backdrop for all kinds of gatherings.
