Conscientious homeowners Don and Shirley wanted to expand their upstate New York residence without harming the existing trees. MADLAB designed an addition that integrated with the old residence and preserved as much landscape as possible. The home more than doubled in size, and playfully juxtaposed new and old materials to achieve the most from a very surgical approach.
